Sierra Circuits can reproduce your old board’s functionality with our service that re-engineers and reproduces old obsolete boards. Re-engineering begins with the analysis of the existing data. Is the schematic available? Is layout available? Are the old boards available?
SCHEMATICS AVAILABLE
When PDFs of the schematics are available, the schematic will be recreated in a PCB design tool and the boards reproduced. We will require additional information such as the board dimensions and connector positions.
ONLY BOARDS AVAILABLE
When only the boards are available, we run an analysis to see whether the traces and components can be identified. If so, the schematic and boards can be reproduced.
