Webinar abstract:

Ensuring electromagnetic compatibility in PCB design is critical to achieving reliable and interference-free electronic systems. This webinar will bridge the gap between theory and practical implementation by providing a comprehensive guide to EMC design rules, material selection, stack-up optimization, and fabrication best practices.

We will begin by exploring material selection and stack-up design strategies that help mitigate electromagnetic interference (EMI) at the foundational level. Attendees will gain insights into impedance control during fabrication and design for manufacturability (DFM) guidelines that enhance EMC performance.

The session will also cover EMC standards, the most common EMI challenges in high-speed PCB designs, and practical solutions such as reflection control, termination resistors, and routing strategies for controlled impedance. Participants will learn how to minimize crosstalk, leverage shielding and via stitching for high-speed signal integrity, and prepare for EMC compliance testing using load boxes and setting the different operation modes.

This webinar will provide actionable insights to help you move from theory to real-world implementation of EMC best practices—ensuring your PCBs meet compliance and performance standards.
