Seminar abstract:
Prototype PCBs often have a 30% to 70% fail rate! Learn how to make that significantly better through proper parts placement, orientation, and knowledge of the assembly process. This class is less about circuit boards and more about learning to work with manufacturing and assembly shop practices and understanding the fabrication process so you can design your PCB to work the first time, and have increased yield/profitability afterwards. This class is based on years as the EE in charge of working with our in-house assembly shop to increase yield. Design for manufacturing and assembly is crucial to improving first runs and getting them into production friendly yields.
